Rusty Stiles
I am Rusty Stiles, a Chemical Engineering graduate from the University of Florida.
Rusty Stiles is a recent graduate from the University of Florida. He obtained a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and is looking forward to starting his career. During his studies at the University of Florida he was able to learn the fundamentals needed to advance in the engineering field and had the opportunity to work hands on in chemical labs, clean room labs, and process engineering labs. Rusty also worked as a research assistant to Prof. Jason Butler. This work involved the study of the dynamics in a suspension of fibers in a shear flow using computer simulations. He assisted in maintaining and improving the computer code used in the simulation. He also developed programs to automate the initiation, completion, and analysis of the computer simulations on a remote Beowulf cluster.
